Judge's Comments
The feeling of speed coupled with a perfectly sharp image of the car makes this a rightful winner in this category in my view.
Images such as this are taken by panning the camera at the same speed as the car and taking the shot with the camera moving. This has the effect of 'freezing' the movement of the car whilst the background is blurred. A difficult skill to acquire!
This is a very well executed shot of this kind which is perfectly exposed.
