Judge's Comments
An incredibly sharp, perfectly exposed image that is an unusual take on iconic London images of Boadicea and St Stephen's Tower. The photographer has ensured that every part of the image is sharp despite there being a long depth of field. Even the pigeons in the foreground are totally sharp.
Despite the difficulties of cloudy skies in London, this shot contains some elements of blue in the sky background which I feel enhances the image.
